Barrett Precision .416 Barrett 500gr Hornady A-TIP Match / Aluminum Tip Boat Tail 10/Box is engineered for extreme long-range (ELR) shooting and allows shooters to reach sub-MOA performance, capable of hitting targets well beyond 2,500 yards. This ammunition utilizes Hornady's A-TIP Match (aluminum tip boat tail) bullet (projectile). The aluminum bullet tip is precision machined and longer than polymer tipped bullets, which moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability. Hornady A-Tip Match bullets feature three components (gilding metal jacket, lead core and aluminum tip). The aluminum bullet tip design results in tighter groups and reduced drag variability, creating the right blend of ogive, tip length, bearing surface and optimized boat tail. Hornady A-TIP Match bullets are doppler radar verified low drag coefficient, high ballistic coefficient, and are forgiving of twist rate, seating depth and muzzle velocity. Hornady's refined AMP bullet jacket design maximizes uniformity and concentricity aiding overall performance. This ammunition is built specifically for extreme long-range target and match/competition shooting. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
