Berger Target .22 Caliber (.224 Diameter) 80gr VLD Hollow Point Boat Tail 100/Box incorporates a secant ogive design which allows the bullet to experience less drag as it travels. The (VLD) Very Low Drag bullet delivers a reduction in drag, which allows the bullet to shoot flatter, experience less wind-drift, and retain a higher velocity. These bullets are extremely popular for competitive long range shooting and are built with highly consistent J4 Precision Bullet jackets, which are a favorite among custom bullet makers. These bullets are new production and non-corrosive.

Berger Target 224 80gr VLD, Excellent Bullet
I recently had a custom rifle built with an 8in twist barrel, reamed specifically for the Berger 80gr VLD bullet. The new rifle shoots exceptionally well with the Berger 80 VLD. When searching for bullets I found Munition Express had the best price and the bullets were in stock. The shipping cost was lower than many and I received the bullets in three days. Pretty darn good service for the current times and the delays experienced by many at other dealers.
