CORBON Self-Defense 10mm AUTO 165gr Jacketed Hollow Point 20/Box is engineered to deliver an ultra-high muzzle velocity of 1250 FPS (Feet Per Second), and is designed to deliver deep penetration and massive expansion on impact causing the bullet (projectile) diameter to substantially increase in diameter, resulting in a large terminal wound channel. This ammunition typically achieves 9"-15" of penetration and utilizes a jacketed hollow point bullet and is manufactured with a gilding metal jacket and a soft lead core. The jacket of the bullet is strategically scored inside and out to ensure uniform and rapid expansion. The rapid bullet expansion reduces over-penetration, thus reducing the risk of collateral damage. On impact, the jacket and lead of the bullet peel back to the base of the bullet, resulting in bullet expansion double its original diameter.
