I tagged my first wild turkey for the year last week with these shells. I consider myself an avid turkey hunter because I really put the time and effort into perfecting everything about the way I hunt. I have everything I need from camo, chokes, to great binoculars and so on. I am convinced after all these years that if you perfect your turkey shot, and prepare your turkey gun for hunting, at some point you will get lucky and tag one. This sport is not easy and takes time and patience. It took me years before I was able to call them in and then getting the proper shot technique down to effectively take a lethal shot. My father always told me when I was younger to be patient and at the right time, take the shot, but only if I knew I could make it a lethal shot. Wild turkey are very intelligent, and sometimes you must try different techniques to lure them in. Load the right shells, and develop your own proper shot technique. Loading the right shells is the key and shot placement is what unlocks everything else. I praise these shells and give them 5 stars because they really work. When it comes to turkey shells, Federal is leaps and bounds past the other brands I have shot in the past. I am hoping Federal does not discontinue these shells, as I am a great shot with these shells. Nothing else needs to be done to make them better than they already are.
