G2 Research R.I.P. 12ga 2-3/4" 303gr Radically Invasive Projectile Fragmenting Solid Brass Slug Lead-Free 5/Box delivers optimized close-quarter defense velocities, hard-hitting downrange energy, and is engineered to deliver rapid threat-ending lethality. This ammunition utilizes a unique one-hundred percent solid brass petaled-trocar slug (projectile) design which gives it the ability to not only penetrate deep into a target but also fragment in fluid. Upon entering a gel or fluid, the R.I.P. (Radically Invasive Projectile) slug petals break from the base and create six (6) individual wound channels including the base, resulting in devastating threat-ending lethality. The slug base penetrates 10 to 16+ inches while the trocar petals penetrate 9 to 11 inches, with a 4 to 6 inch spread, adding to the threat-ending effect. This ammunition has an effective expansion range up to 10 yards. This ammunition is not recommended for defense uses that exceed 10 yards. Defensive use beyond 10 yards could potentially cause the slug to oscillate, which could negatively affect how the slug is designed to expand and penetrate in an intended target. This ammunition is built specifically for close-quarter defense purposes. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
