This ammunition utilizes Hornady's XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) bullet which is specifically designed to expand reliably at a wide range of handgun velocities to deliver deep penetration and to provide hunters with the advantage of hand-loaded accuracy in a factory load. Hornady utilizes select cases that are chosen to meet unusually high-standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures, including primers that are chosen for their ability to quickly and reliably ignite. To ensure the highest level of quality control, Hornady hand inspects each round of this ammunition before it is packaged. This ammunition is built for self-defense applications and for hunting medium sized game (50 to 300 lbs) including whitetail deer and feral hogs. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
