Hornady Subsonic .40 S&W 180gr XTP Jacketed Hollow Point 20/Box delivers excellent accuracy, increased range, and devastating terminal results and utilizes tried-and-true Hornady XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) bullets (projectiles) which expand reliably at subsonic velocities without the loud report of a supersonic round. When paired with a suppressor, it’s even quieter. These loads do not have to be fired through a suppressed firearm and will function in non-suppressed firearms. This ammunition is built for defense purposes. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
Please Note: Subsonic loads are ideal for shooting through suppressors because they help reduce the sound signature. Subsonic rounds do not exhibit a supersonic crack making them quieter when shot through your favorite can. These loads do not have to be fired through a suppressed firearm and will function in non-suppressed firearms.
