Magtech 5.56x45mm NATO 62gr SS109 Penetrator Full Metal Jacket Belted with M27 Links in Ammo Can 800/Can offers reliable performance, and utilizes SS109 steel penetrator bullets (projectiles). Unlike M855 bullets which have a visible green bullet tip, SS109 bullets don't not have a visible green bullet tip but still feature the same steel penetrator bullet tip/insert as M855 green tip bullets. This ammunition is specifically built for high-volume target shooting from belt-fed firearm platforms (machine guns), and is designed to allow continuous fire without the need of reloading magazines. This ammunition is linked, which forms a belt, and utilizes M27 links, which feature a corrosion-resistant, black phosphate coating and can be reassembled (relinked) by hand with new ammunition, or disassembled (delinked) manually for standard magazine loading.
