Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting .30 Caliber (.308 Diameter) Subsonic 220gr Round Nose 50/Box was built for subsonic use and designed for much lower velocities than its Ballistic Tip Hunting counterparts. Loaded into a .300 AAC Blackout and impacting at 1000 FPS (Feet Per Second), these bullets maintain 95% weight retention even after 12" of expansive penetration. (Optimal Performance Velocity: 1000-2500 FPS) These bullets deliver the accuracy, consistency and down-range punch required for clean kills in all situations. These flat-shooting, wind-defying bullets utilize ballistic-designed boat-tails and polymer tips to increase long-range efficiency and protect against tip damage in the magazine. The fully-tapered and special lead-core allows controlled expansion and optimum weight retention at all practical velocity levels. The heavy jacketed base prevents bullet deformation during firing and acts as a platform for a large-diameter mushroom. The engineered solid base boat tail configuration combines with the streamlined green polymer tip for extreme long-range performance, and for easier loading. These bullets are new production and non-corrosive.

Please Note: Subsonic bullets are ideal for shooting through suppressors because they help reduce the sound signature and are designed to perform reliably at subsonic velocities. Subsonic bullets do not exhibit a supersonic crack making them quieter when shot through your favorite can. These bullets do not have to be fired through a suppressed firearm and will function in non-suppressed firearms.
