Nosler BT .280 Ackley Improved 140gr Ballistic Tip 20/Box delivers violent expansion upon impact, resulting in quick, humane kills. Nosler's BT (Ballistic Tip) bullet is tipped with a polycarbonate tip which rapidly drives back, forcing the thin jacket to expand and fragment. The fully-tapered bullet jacket and special lead-alloy core allow controlled expansion and optimal weight retention at all practical velocities, while the heavy jacketed base prevents bullet deformation while firing, and also acts as a platform for large-diameter bullet expansion. This ammunition is built for hunting medium sized game (50 to 300 lbs) including antelope, whitetail deer, and feral hogs. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
