Sellier & Bellot TXRG Blue .30-06 Springfield 165gr Polymer Tip Boat Tail Lead-Free 20/Box utilizes a lead-free, solid copper bullet (projectile) which features a (blue) polycarbonate bullet tip that prevents deformation in the magazine, boosts aerodynamic efficiency, and initiates controlled expansion. The TXRG (Tipped eXergy) boat tail bullet configuration coupled with the streamlined polymer tip assures long-range accuracy. The TXRG bullet is specially designed with cannelure grooves which allow for controlled and uniform expansion while retaining high bullet weight for improved penetration. The TXRG bullet also features cross grooves for optimal internal ballistics. Sellier & Bellot is the oldest continually operational ammunition producer in the world dating back to 1825. Located in Vlasim, Czech Republic, Sellier & Bellot has been producing high-quality ammunition for military, law enforcement, and civilian customers for nearly 200 years. Stellar cartridge through my Ruger American bolt action
I will be loading this for my whitetail hunt in December. I shot this 165 grain 30 06 to 200 yards and it is very accurate Recoil was equal to the push of 12 gauge buckshot.

First whitetail down quick
I took my first whitetail of the season at about 120 yds. I was impressed by the exit wound and it did not damage the meat. I usually sight in with 150 grain bullet but decided to try the sellier blue cartridge. This is a very good lead free cartridge. I give it five stars.
