Sellier & Bellot XRG Defense .45 ACP 165gr Solid Copper Hollow Point Lead-Free 25/Box is designed to deliver devastating terminal ballistics from today's compact personal defense handguns/pistols, and utilizes a solid copper hollow point bullet (projectile) which offers "Barrier Blind" performance, and is engineered to penetrate the toughest barriers at varied ranges and velocities. Even as the bullet travels through tough, destructive barriers such as glass, drywall, metal and/or fabric, nearly 100% bullet weight retention is achieved, hence the term "Barrier Blind". The all-copper bullet construction expands reliably into five sharp edge cutting petals, delivering deeper penetration than standard lead-core bullets. This ammunition produces low perceived recoil and delivers high-velocity accuracy for quick follow-up shots. Sellier & Bellot is the oldest continually operational ammunition producer in the world dating back to 1825. My new daily carry in my 1911
After seeing the gel test of this xrg 45 auto and shooting it at the range I was sold. damn good 45 auto load for stopping bad guys.

Very accurate 45 auto
Tested this sellier 45 xrg at the indoor range with a silhouette target out to 30 yards. This is some of the most accurate 45 auto I have ever shot. This might be my new daily carry load. I fired 30 rounds last week. I want to fire at least another 30 or 40 rounds before making it my primary. So far it looks like a winner.
