great round for whitetail deer
My Weatherby Vanguard S2 cycles these rounds flawlessly. I prefer the 130 grain deer season because of the location of my corn piles. Last year I was hunting in NC, and I dropped a 6 point buck from my stand from 300yds. For a shoulder shot, it dropped him on the spot. No tracking though the woods. For years I have deer hunted with my other rifles, but I always resort back to my trusted 270 win rifles. I really hope Winchester deer season in the 130 grain load is here to stay. This load is prime for dropping whitetail. Whitetails do not stand a chance.
