Winchester Expedition Big Game Long Range 6.8mm Western 165gr Nosler AccuBond Long Range 20/Box offers flat shooting and solid accuracy, built for delivering long range lethal power. Through a proprietary bullet bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond LR marries Nosler's traditional copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core. The result is a bullet that penetrates deep, retains its weight and won't cause extensive barrel fouling, plus it retains 60-70% of its weight. The fully tapered copper-alloy bullet jacket ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, as the gradual thickening along the bullet’s axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high and low velocities. Nosler’s AccuBond LR bullet supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead-alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than two-thirds of the original bullet weight for deep penetration. The Nosler AccuBond Long Range (LR) bullet (projectile) features a polymer tip which aides in smooth chambering, eliminates bullet tip damage during recoil, and assures the utmost in accuracy. This ammunition is built for hunting medium sized game (50 to 300 lbs) including pronghorn, and desert bighorn sheep, and also for hunting large game (300 to 1500 lbs) including mule deer and elk. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, boxer primed, in reloadable brass cases.
